New Version of WebWasher Classic Released
by Berislav Kucan - Wednesday, 11 December 2002.
Following the success of WebWasher Enterprise Edition and Protected Gateway editions, Germany based webwasher.com AG, announced the new version of WebWasher Classic. The software which places itself between the user browser and the Internet, now runs on Windows XP and works with AOL Internet access software.

WebWasher Classic filters unwanted advertising banners, pop-ups, animations, JavaScripts and Java applets as well as cookies, referrers and Web bugs from Web sites. This version offers the "configuration-free" option, allowing extremely easy installations and usage with browsers which don't allow proxy server configuration.

WebWasher Classic is available free of charge for home users, schools and public institutions and can be downloaded from the company web site. WebWasher Classic is available for commercial use at a price of 29 Euro.
