Pittsburgh based, privately owned security company RedSiren Technologies, announced enterprise licensing for their online information security training courses Security University, better known as InfoSecU. InfoSecU offers a comprehensive, Web-based curriculum to corporations and individuals who want to expand their understanding of information security principles and best practices. According to the recent Gartner Group report, e-learning is emerging as a credible way to continue training inititatives.Dain Gary, RedSiren’s Chief Security Officer said: "With enterprise licensing, RedSiren is making it possible for people to grasp both the basic and in-depth issues needed to ensure informational integrity, and to put it to immediate use."
RedSiren offers two InfoSecU course packages:
- For firms that want to provide employees with a basic level of instruction on general security awareness, a special InfoSecU “Quick Start” program is available on a corporate-wide basis, with the first year’s maintenance fee waived.
- Companies that require their workers to have in-depth and updated knowledge on the full range of information security issues can take advantage of an enterprise license, giving them continuous access to the full range of InfoSecU courses, including updated information that can be used to obtain and retain CISSP certification.
