Cross Site Scripting "the security gap"

I wonder if Microsoft applies the patches on their systems of their products. This question is always on my mind. I personally think that sufficient effort is not made on this topic, and with a little amount of investigation about it, I've found out that a very simple security threat is still standing at the microsoft.com web site. This problem, of course, does not have a direct harm on the server, but may turn out to be annoying if used indirectly. Yes, the name of this security gap is "Cross Site Scripting". This security gap, which was discovered by Georgi Guninski, looks like it might cause some problems in banks and some places where online shopping is done.
